Excellent wages. Competitive bonuses. Hourly folks are always above industry average. Salary is also excellent for those workers (I experienced both in my 14.5 years there). Most all managers and also many of the VP's are promoted from within. Tons of tribal knowledge from over 60 years in business. Family owned--no shareholders to distort company goals... Field guys have great support and autonomy--admin and engineering are always there to help. When I first started at RFM and ran into a problem in the field I called a senior salesman for the territory and asked what to do (this was like one o'clock in the morning--but he picked up) he just said, "do right by the customer and you can never go too far wrong." Words that I lived by for my time there. The work can be hard, but the people are great and everyone generally pulls in the same direction. Many of the business relationships at RFM go back 40 years or more. It's nice to work for people who are proven and just show up and consistently get tough things done. I will always fondly remember my time there. 5/5 Stars Would work there again. Kelly S.

The work and the hours can be tough. Although a large part of the business is scheduled in advance, much of the what makes RFM great is responding quickly and professionally to unforeseen events. This, almost by definition, is hard to schedule. So there will be the random extra long Friday or late night call form a major customer. The good new is they pay very generously for overtime work. I also wish the health insurance wasn't so expensive--but that is also a part of a larger issue all around in many industries I know.
