Pluspunten
Loved my job, learned an enormous amount of skills to take to my next position, my co-workers were the best, pay was decent and I would have stayed there until retirement if feasible.
Minpunten
Company re-organized and my position was caught in the "workforce reduction" phase so I was laid off. I was told big lay offs come pretty regularly every couple of years and it wasn't based on your workload or your dedication as an employee. Therefore, job security was low and my fear of being laid off finally occurred. One other "con" was the medical benefits provided. My deductible was $9300 and I paid a good amount monthly for my insurance in addition to the extremely high deductible. As a single parent, I found this to be outrageous but it beat the alternative of not having insurance.
