Minpunten

The FIRST red flag: In my short 15-min interview, the supervisor only talked about themselves, the company, and the job responsibilities, but did not ask about my background, work history, or my future goals. I received a job offer the next day. The second red flag: The 1st month of physically working in RMA - SF, I have witnessed 5 people getting fired and 4 quitting. The third red flag: No one looks happy or has even stated that they like working in RMA - SF, unless you're part of management maybe. There is absolutely little to NO work-life balance working here unless you're a doctor or part of management. I have talked to the phlebotomists, clinical assistants, nursing staff, embryology lab personnel, and andrology lab personnel-- no one is happy and have stated how they feel overworked and underpaid. I have even overheard the front desk personnel talk about how stressed they are as I walk past the hallways or break room. Be warned that there will always be overtime and you will most likely be always on your feet. There is also no parking, so you will have to either take the Bart, ferry, or pay the daily $30 Rincon Center Parking fee to get to work or visit as a patient. There are also concerns about patient confidentiality. RMA personnel use their personal phones to take pictures of RMA forms to send on the Spruce app. I have also witnessed my coworkers read/search up patient information (ie. home address, work place, and Spruce personal messages between the patient and RMA personnel) for their own personal entertainment. Once the patients or doctors would leave the door, my co-workers would insult them ie. "From looking at his driver's license, that guy DOES look like he smokes" or "That guy was so short" Overall, this workplace gave me trauma and both my supervisor nor co-workers didn't make it better.
