Pluspunten
I have worked at RRCSB for nearly 9 years. I have consistently moved up the ladder and may be their official poster child for internal growth. I started at the very bottom, as a direct support staff, and worked hard to get where i am now. These efforts did not go unnoticed. The company has recently implemented some strategies to groom employees that have potential to advance. They recently started a PEEP program which looks to support internal growth and development. Tuition reimbursement is available as well. The company supports 5 counties and employs hundreds. If you see a post that refers to the company in a manner that is not positive, the person's experience cannot represent the large majority; the company employs hundreds of employees. The company created a workforce development team that has worked hard to boost moral and create a positive work environment. I think it is doing an outstanding job.
Minpunten
The only letdown for me, is basically something that is not a controllable variable. The health insurance market is obviously in need of regulation (affordable care act...need I say more). The company struggles to balance the budget and provide great healthcare options to its employees. These options have changed yearly. That becomes a nuisance to deal with. Some employees, if they have this as an option, will opt sign up with a spouse. The company is currently paying an opt out incentive to employees. This may change in the future to no opt out incentive.
