Pluspunten

Exposure to various industries (Jewelry, Hardware, Manufacturing, Foodservice, Publishing) through the attendance of tradeshows. Best understanding of the tradeshow industry itself.

Minpunten

Very poor internal communications and a VERY top heavy management system. There's very little care for middle management and lower employmee time and effort. Rewards for achievement are not respective of the time and effort put towards the final goal. Example - I received a $25 grocery store Coupon for closing a $40,000 sale. Additionally, business shortcomings as a result of poor fiscal planning by Senior Management result in lower level cuts.

Pluspunten

Opportunity for growth within the company, great focus on not only retaining but growing inhouse talent. Tons of different sales roles to apply for. Ability to work remote full time.

Minpunten

Perhaps not the most competitive salary initially but can easily work your way into one.

Do yourself a favor and filter this section to only the 1 star and 2 star reviews, because those are the only accurate reviews, at least for RX Global in the Norwalk office. At RX, you are overworked, but also underpaid and undervalued. Employees at this company are just a number. You are paid a comically low salary, no overtime, and HORRIBLE benefits, all for them to use and abuse you. You are expected to work overtime throughout the entire year. You are not only expected to travel for your own shows, but you are also required to volunteer for other shows and attend other external events throughout the year, that always fall over weekends. Have a good idea? Something that can propel the business forward? Doesn't matter! Unless you are VP level or above, your ideas are worth nothing— If anything, they're laughed at. On that note, unless you are VP level or above, not only do you have no autonomy, but you are essentially a dumping ground for admin work. And last but not least, the company culture is one consisting of gossip. Be prepared to be gaslit, micromanaged, and emotionally manipulated if you consider working here. Oh also, non-existent growth opportunities!
