If you are focused, attempting to learn, and showing that you are a responsible employee the path to competitive pay can be quick; however, hard and dirty work lies in the way. This requires little formal education but the ability to obtain a CDL and retain and apply knowledge from trainers.

Dirty, hard, cold, hot. Some trucks have seen better day, some are magnificent. Don't expect to get a nice one or exactly what you want when there are people that have been there for much longer waiting for the same thing.
