The leadership is the reason this company has failed. They have none of the following: leadership skills, knowledge of software development best practices, HR basics, diversity awareness, employee satisfaction or empathy.
The leaders are unable to have open and honest conversations. If you do bring up concerns, they will disagree and stop listening immediately. They do not invest in their employees or their software.
It was common to hear leadership blame former employees for the company's failure. This was disheartening because the employees here work extremely hard, are incredibly smart, and resilient.
