The company offers remote working, provides exposure to the market, and allows for flexibility. Additionally, it serves as a learning experience—not just in terms of industry knowledge, but also in understanding how a company should not be managed.

Minpunten

Recurrent Energy suffers from a completely disorganized structure with undefined processes, leading to constant confusion, especially at the top management level. There is little to no investment in young talent, who are often overworked without real opportunities for growth. Career progression paths are non-existent, and bonuses are virtually absent. The company experiences frequent layoffs and an extremely high turnover rate, making it difficult to work in such an unstable environment. While it may be an option for gaining short-term experience (1-2 years), long-term prospects are highly discouraging. I would strongly recommend considering other opportunities for long-term career development.

Pluspunten

I started with RE over a year ago - I came from a recruitment agency setting & made the transition to internal/corporate. This has been a great place to learn the ins and outs of the business strategy from a recruitment/HR perspective. My team is and has always been very welcoming, easy to work with, & great to learn from. There is absolutely no micromanagement, great work life balance, and a flexible hybrid working model. Colleagues (at all levels) are welcoming and great to work with. The culture at RE is great and probably my favorite part about the job!

Minpunten

Can't think of many cons - there is more backend paperwork than I initially expected but would not necessarily note that as a "con".

Work is manageable depending on your team. 1 day required onsite in office is less than a lot of companies. People are collaborative

Minpunten

Recurrent is somewhat unorganized and has had a lot of employee turnover in the last 2 years. I don't believe management knows how to identify or value talent bc some people who were hired/promoted to a high position do not seem qualified or technical, perhaps they are good at interviewing or talking to higher management. Pay is low for experience and growth in your career is limited, if you are a project manager early in your career it may be good experience. In my opinion, their strategy does not involve retaining long term employees, they may have more of abundance mindset where everyone is replaceable. There is a new president now perhaps things will change
