1.Free uniform every quarter...although this is not enough if you are full time so inevitably you have to spend more on uniform, and even with 75% off you are still expected to pay £50 for a jumper. 2. If you are lucky enough to work with a great team then the experience is made more bearable!

Where to begin....!?? The company is so poorly managed by the higher management it makes your job so much more difficult. The head office team seem to barely know what they are doing and often ignore any issues in stores anyway! Complaints were made to HR about bullying and problems in store but they were always totally ignored....they don't care so long as you are in store making money, whether you are miserable or not!! The head office team is also very cliquey with area managers which makes it even more difficult if you have a problem to speak to anyone in confidence! The area manager of the south west was friendly with the head of HR so she got away with murder!! Treated managers appalling and set a negative environment for everyone to work in...yet nothing was done! You have to be part of a whatsapp group where every day you are bombarded with messages about figures/performance etc, on days off you would still be receiving the messages and if you didn't check your phone for a couple of hours you could expect up to 50 messages by the time you did. The group was full of negativity and in the south west stores case was only designed for the area mangers 'favourite' store managers to brag about how great they were, whilst everyone else was hounded if they weren't making enough money or they had refunds!! Ridiculous. Favourtism in general is massive in Reiss, if your liked by those in head office or your area manager then you are fine, but if not they purposely make your life more difficult, in my store i was expected to write a report every monday but another manager in the area hadn't done the same report for 6 months!??..... You are expected to wear heels all day which is absolutely killer, you are also made to wear tight dresses on the weekends... the brand is all about appearance rather than actually caring about whether you are good at your job or not! No support from higher management, for example head office or area manager.....you are left to 'get on with things' but when you do need help it simply isn't there!! I cannot understand how the company is still trading with its total lack of direction or any understanding from head office and area managers about what it actually takes to run stores!!
