Senior Directors expect you to be available and emailing from early morning to late at night. I repeatedly have my supervisor calling me well past 9 PM, always for trivial, non-urgent issues. If you don't respond, expect to have a stern talking to the following morning. -Micromanagement to the extreme. Every email you send, every word you utter is dissected and scrutinized to the nth degree. Zero freedom to utilize the skill set you brought to the company. Senior Directors are in the trenches scrutinizing the work of employees 6 levels beneath them. I've never seen anything like it.
