- Supportive Culture: everyone is willing to help out, hop on a call, answer a question - Flexible work schedules and remote work: they understand you are a real human who has a life outside of work - Work with really smart people (both on tech and insurance side, coming from a non-insurance background there is a lot of willingness to educate eachother among colleagues - Work in an exciting space:insurtech is a very exciting place to be, the insurance industry is digitizing and there is a massive opportunity to be apart of the transformation - Growth: as with any start up you have a lot of opportunity to grow into roles as the company grows - Transparency & Exposure: CEO and leadership team are very open about trajectory/goals/financials - you are a stakeholder in the company and you are treated as such - Fast-paced and lots of interesting work (you won't get bored - Autonomy - results driven mentality, you won't get a lot of oversight on how you do your work, but you will be expected to produce
Minpunten
- Workload is often hard to prioritize: as with a lot of start-ups, there is a lot to be done and it's seemingly all a priority. In order to be successful you have to be disciplined and focused. - Not a ton of documentation: again, common start up issue, but we are at a point where not having processes documented inhibits productivity. - fully remote - this is a pro and con for me, but it can make it difficult to effectively communicate at times
