      Well known legacy brand in K-12 market with Accelerated Reader and STAR Assessments. Lots of customer loyalty and respect. But that is changing...

      With new ownership, emphasis is all about profits. Yearly subscription increases without any new features makes customers question their loyalty. Comp plan for sales is out of touch with competition. No real understanding of how schools operate from senior management.

      I appreciate your feedback and am sorry you don’t recommend Renaissance as a place to work. While we include customers in our learning—RAB, customer research, usability testing and SKP research—we certainly can better package all we do more so our teams have clear insight into all we’re doing to connect with customers. – Samir Joglekar, EVP, Sales & Services

      Some of the most amazing people you’ll ever work with. Generally supportive peers. Leaders are kind and not intentionally toxic. Strong brand recognition and a variety of solutions to enable solution selling.

      Minpunten

      The culture of the organization seems to have succumbed to the broader climate surrounding politics and education. Immense pressure is placed on sales team to deliver in saturated territories with beyond unachievable quotas for some and cake quotas for others. No cost of living increases, lots of layoffs and unclear path for growth with an egregious lack of transparency from leadership about the glaring issues. NONE of this seems intentional or malicious-it just seems like a lot of behaviors caused by extreme desperation.
