The environment's a lot of fun. The people here foster a sense of camaraderie. It's small enough for you to establish lasting relationships with people to hang out with on the weekends. They also have a tech branch in Prague that will visit LA pretty regularly. The company for offers a lot of great perks you often hear about at larger tech companies like Google and Snapchat. Twice a month a massage therapist visits the office; they have monthly happy hours (drinks and appetizers on the company), team building events like Barry's Bootcamp and Yoga, and every Thursday they cater lunch from a variety of restaurants from around the city (think Joan’s on Third, Mendocino Farms, Larchmont Wine and Cheese), unlimited snacks and nitro coffee on tap, the list goes on. They try to make sure you have what you need to be successful, like a MacBook, iMac computer screen, standing desks, etc. They really believe the saying "you're the captain of your own ship...". If you work hard and prove yourself you'll be rewarded with a respectable salary, bonuses and independence on projects that would take years for you to reach at more established corporations. If you want to come and just hangout then you'll plateau and be miserable.

The leadership is a little disengaged from the day to day and understandably so. They are a little on the younger side, but they are thinking 2-3 years down the road and sometimes the here and now suffers as a result. That said they make it clear they are available to meet with anyone anytime and they care passionately about their employees. One other con is the open office layout...it can be distracting at times, especially when you need to focus, but they do have call rooms that you can usually just hop into to focus on projects.
