Going to break the bullet points here.
I just don't feel heard as an engineer at the company. The company is not trying at all to save their engineers (don't want to give good raises, avoid hot topics like why so many engineers are leaving or are let go, seen very few promotions over my time here, etc). They won't say it, but also for every engineer that has left the company this year, they have backfilled it with talent from India. Frontend, backend, etc. They say it's "hard" to find "good talent" in the Bay Area. There's plenty of talent in the Bay Area, but their interview process is trying to be a Big 4 company, when we just need people who know how to code to help.
The company does not care about the engineers and choose the "you already get paid enough stop complaining" treatment. We're people too, and deserve to be valued just the same as anyone else.
Stop brushing things under the rug. Value your engineers. Make them want to stay and grow with the company. Don't push them away.
