Pluspunten

Resourcing Edge is an awesome company to work for. Internally we have a great comp plan, transparent leadership, and awesome benefits. I'm also surrounded by subject matter experts that are quick to give me advice or even speak directly with a prospect if necessary. I work in a satellite office, and they do a great job of making us feel that we are a part of the big picture. As far as selling goes... Resourcing Edge holds all of the major accreditations and certifications that ADP, Insperity, etc. can offer. The same thing goes for carriers (health, dental, vision...). The difference is that I can call or email my CEO with feedback on a meeting or for flexibility on a deal that is close to closing and just needs a little push to get over the finish line. We are also extremely price competitive and can far exceed the level of service given by the big guys (single point of contact for service, direct lines, direct emails) It's often a no brainer for companies to move from our competitors to us knowing that they are going to receive an improvement in service and a drastic reduction in overall cost (not to mention transparent billing/no hidden costs!)

We are lacking some sales tools that larger companies invest in.

One of the most toxic work environments I've ever observed. The person who hired me never spoke to me again afterwards, even just to say 'how's it going'. My boss didn't want to know me as a person and wasn't interested at all in my day to day efforts. There was zero training, just figure it out. I was constantly made to feel like I was doing something wrong. When I got laid off they said I would have 30 days to wrap up, just to call me 2 weeks later and say my access was being shut off right that moment. Trying to find an SOP, guide, or product one-pager to upsell clients was nearly impossible. Our VP was completely disconnected from the actual work being done and if you didn't worship her or fear her you weren't treated like a valuable employee. When one of the executives traveled to our office and asked what improvements could be made, some of us gave suggestions just to be told never to do that again because it makes management look weak. HUGE RED FLAG, I should've ran away then!
