Pluspunten

Free pops in the office (but not at the expense of being mentally abused)

Minpunten

1. This start-up was not founded by the current CEO, but by its investors, who placed her in charge after the departure of the previous CEO. Despite having no prior start-up experience (let's be honest, Shopify is not a start-up anymore while she was working there), the CEO frequently brags about a cancer charity gift box that she started, which has not gained much traction in the market. 2. Unfortunately, the current CEO, exhibits sociopathic tendencies, as evidenced by the numerous cases of lying and backstabbing from former employees. Regrettably, many of these individuals left or were terminated due to the CEO's actions. 3. In addition, the CEO is known to target those who disagree with her, particularly if they possess more experience or authority in a particular field. 4. Despite her toxic behaviour, the CEO loves attention and has invested heavily in her personal PR. She has been featured in numerous newspaper and TV news stories, branding herself as a female founder, cancer survivor, and mother. However, these factors do not excuse her terrible and harmful behaviour. 5. The investors of the company are either foolish or complicit in the CEO's actions. She is adept at "managing up," creating a flawless image for those in positions of authority while ruthlessly destroying the lives of those who oppose her. There are former colleagues (again those who worked for her) from her past jobs and other companies have mentioned her sociopathic behaviour, but unfortunately, she has thus far avoided consequences.
