There are some very wonderful people I have met at Revera. Bless them - I wish the best for them. The benefits are okay. If you are inexperienced in the OHS industry and are looking to learn more about provincial injury reporting across several provinces - you will learn a lot. If you are looking to expand your horizons in OHS in a more industrial sense - this isn't it.
Minpunten
The job I applied for was NOT what I ended up doing - on my first day there I was told I was taking care of a 2-person Call Centre - responsible for assisting all the homes nationally. I went through 1 phone screen and 2 in person interviews and no one mentioned this. The salary is low. Raises (that actually mean anything in our inflated society) are seldom. The OHS team is small and there is no career path. If you are looking to get into this industry - try it. If you are looking to find a career path within one organization - move on. If you are looking to be an autonomous worker - this team is not the place for you. Every move will be questioned and must be reviewed - every step takes a long time. The management style is very micromanage-y so be prepared for that. There have been 4 Health and Safety Coordinators historically with the current management within the span of the last 4-5 years and approximately 4 Health and Safety Students/Interns (paid - how kind), where 3/4 had left early. Think about that while you're applying.
