There's a good amount of work to do, and whether you want to be on the till and help, or do more stuff on the floor, there's a good variety of things to do. There's a staff discount
Minpunten
There's a huge discrepancy between the Head Office, Management, and Employees. The Head Office will say one thing, Management will say another, and then Employees are stuck in the middle. This has happened on a number of occasions. It's infuriating to want answers, and neither the head office nor the management can give a clear answer, as there are many times they aren't agreeing on a matter. The rewards for employees has dropped off significantly. At one point they were giving regular pay raises voluntarily; now they only give it when the Government mandates that they need to for Minimum Wage increases. The staff discount is not as good as it once was, and their rewards for excellent work (which used to be weekly) are now a sparse couple times a year. The company touts career opportunities but don't be fooled by this. They have a very singular track you must follow; and if you don't there's nothing for you. It really restricts the trajectory of many employees and many employees (myself included) felt stuck and unable to progress unless they made severe compromises to be on the 'track' that Rexall set out. Also, Management's handling of conflict is woefully poor. Often times they'd shrug their hands and just not want to deal with things or they would just tell both people to stop, without addressing any of the underline issues.
