Regarding your comment about working through holidays - we as a company close during the Christmas/New Year period and all employees are on annual leave. The only exception to this is if a client has urgent delivery deadlines during this time and requests that employees work through - in this case it is always voluntary and employees are rewarded accordingly for working through this period. This is quite an exceptional circumstance and not something that happens very often. Challenging projects do happen, but we work very hard to ensure our staff remain engaged, motivated and supported throughout - we certainly do not have a culture of blame and it is disappointing to hear that you felt this was the case.
