Pluspunten
Good location, free parking, nice "campus"; has a niche in the obsolete semiconductor marketplace so you know they will be around for a long time. Good benefits package with a 9-5 mentality (if you are looking for that kind of thing). Growth potential if you are willing to kiss up and be robotic. The Family benevolent Foundation has funded a few community projects, the largest prominently displaying the Family name like Mr. Potter's Bank in "It's a Wonderful Life".
Minpunten
Weak leadership with the possible exception of the Founder who is approachable when outside of his ostentatious office, but very conservative. Poorly managed, no accountability of executive and management behavior, especially where family and family friends are concerned, while warehouse and fabrication employees are micro managed. Arrogant and passive aggressive, their two-faced culture can be toxic to some, and if you don't like it you can go start your own business, that's the attitude. Lackluster culture with several long term employees waiting for retirement or for something better to come along. Lots of macho men whose hero is Captain Rochester, their comic book mascot. Their niche keeps them in business, not their talent.
