Salary is somewhat lagging relative to peers, there are many employees that are nearing the end of their career and "blocking" the younger generation from entering management roles. Networking can be difficult unless you are located at one of Rohm and Haas' Delaware Valley locations. Rohm and Haas is a very risk-averse culture that is often slow to act. Many senior technical employees are eventually promoted to middle managers, which is often beyond their personal abilities.
