Many recruiters and job descriptions mention agency experience being a plus. So having an agency on my resume helped me to move up. When given an assignment for my current job the manager was impressed with how quick and accurately I completed the interview project compared to the other potential candidates with more experience! I would say RP gave me the sense of urgency that I needed to grow when given another opportunity.

I liked the fast paced environment as it challenged me and I can thrive in chaos, but after a couple years I still got tired of it. It was very hard to move up. Once I did, it wasn’t worth going through double the stress just to move up again. Plus my raise was not great :/ I now make almost double what I made at RP by moving to a different company and I think that is a sign of undervalued skills. I also remember that in the beginning I was expected to know so much after a month even when their processes are all over the place compared to my previous job.
