Some good people, interesting work. There are ambitions to scale the company and "grow like nobody's business," though ego tends to get in the way.
Minpunten
This is a one-man show masquerading as a company. All executive positions are occupied by this person’s friends and family members. I lasted 4 months and saw 4 other employees leave or be fired in that time (not even counting contractors). Including myself, that is to say that more than a quarter of the company either was fired or jumped ship. So far, no one has been able to use this company as a reference. There is a sense that the whole operation is out of control, which Management tries to mitigate with his controlling nature. He often misinterprets input as criticism, takes it to the ego, and lashes out in rage. A bruised ego ultimately cost me my job. It is interesting to see that HR is now hiring for my old position after flexing, for intimidation or bullying purposes, that they *could* just offshore my job to India. I think this company will continue to have problems until they can either bring in leadership who are not immediate family or friends of this person, or until said family and friends are able to stand up to him. As much as I enjoyed the work itself (when I was allowed to finish it, rather than being jerked around on impulse), this place leaves a toxic aftertaste. Note that the company (read: a personal friend or family member) may try to cover up this review with their own glowing 5-star review, as they did with another former employee’s review on Indeed. Trust your instincts and do not ignore the red flags. They will soon present themselves.
