This feedback is hard to stomach. Clearly we missed the mark. My sincere apologies to whoever it was who left Rotunda with this bitter taste in their mouth.
In the years since this review was written, we have put in place systems like monthly checkins with direct managers, and quarterly checkins with senior managers, to address friction, recognize successes, and identify avenues for growth.
But beyond the structural issues you experienced, it’s clear that you were left with a backwards view of our deepest intentions and values, which is particularly disappointing, since those values are the pillars of our culture and the foundation of our accomplishments.
Rotunda’s heart is the special relationships we build with our users, for whom we have always had the utmost respect and affection. We act with integrity, both with each other and as a business, and we focus on service. I apologize that those values were not apparent from your tenure, and can assure you that the problem was surface-level and short-lived.
