Minpunten
Unmet Expectations: The company culture and treatment I received did not align with what was promised during the interview process. PTO and Sick Time Issues: PTO was not as flexible as initially stated, and sick days were reduced and put on hold until 2025. I was also required to use PTO for personal emergencies when I worked well over the required weekly hours. Lack of Flexibility in Work Hours: Despite assurances of a standard 8 AM to 5 PM work schedule, I was expected to work 40-45 hours a week with additional time as needed, and my work hours were closely monitored. Butt in the sear mentality. Micromanagement: Felt constantly scrutinized and micromanaged, which affected my autonomy and productivity. Lack of Recognition: Despite completing multiple high-stakes bids and projects, I received little appreciation or acknowledgment for my hard work. Unrealistic Expectations for Role: I was held to a senior-level standard despite clearly stating that I considered myself a mid-level, which led to disappointment and misalignment. Limited Transparency and Office Politics: A lack of openness in communication and behind-the-scenes discussions created distrust within the team. Toxic Work Environment: The constant pressure, micromanagement, and lack of clear expectations led to a stressful and negative work atmosphere.
