Thank you for the feedback and for recognising the positives around the communications and the people we have working at WeGift. We agree that our employees are our strongest asset.
L&D is a core 2023 focus of ours. We are introducing a learning management system and are in discussions with a people management specialist to kick-off people management training for all managers in the business. So it's good to see that we're tackling an area that you have identified as a weakness.
As a scaling business we offer lots of progression and opportunities for people to step up into people management roles, often for the first time in their careers. And there is a learning curve for many of our newer managers. We currently bridge this by seeking feedback regularly and relaying this back to managers in the business.
We ask directly around management skills and progression points in our engagement surveys and we ask for direct feedback from peers and reports in our performance review process. This feedback can then be utilised for up-skilling management. We hope that any concerns you had around management style have been picked up through these tools and we therefore have an opportunity to help with this manager's ongoing development.
Please let us know directly if any commission or bonus is incorrect. This is never done intentionally and we will always fix any discrepancies if they are identified. This is a rare occurrence, but there are a few variables here which can impact this - either through reporting from our Sales team, calculations from our Finance team and/or comms between our People and Payroll platform. So any issues here should be reported to us so we can properly investigate and make it right if needed.
