The district offers a lot of support and development.

I wish that the district paid more days or holidays for paraprofessional’s.

Rutherford schools provide pleasant working conditions, and have knowledgable supervisors and staff making for a caring school family environment. The borough is an exceptional community to work.

Once labeled in a current position, there are few opportunities to change your status and it is difficult to advance to a higher position. There has never been a significant pay raise per year for paraprofessionals. The pay is low for the extreme importance of working in a school environment.
