Loved my work, especially the excitement of live TV broadcasting, and the dedication of the people I worked with.

The latter part of my 30 years with the SABC saw arrival of a new news manager, who brought too many changes in a very short time. These changes fundamentally changed the character of the institution, resulting in the departure of many of experienced producer, which consequently had a detrimental affect on the product.

Still racist elements in management; patriarchy and inefficient HR; so no rationale to certain decisions and corrective measures.
