Infighting between teams, via abuse of internal bug reporting and prioritization, tolerated/ignored. Internal tools are non-standard and complex. Time spent learning is a career dead end. C is everywhere, and it's super non-standard. Almost no C++. Java work at least builds transferable skills, but the anointed get way much leeway to pad their resumes by foisting nonsense onto everyone else. The Agile infestation is alive and well here. A few sensible principles in theory, thoroughly perverted in practice, cynically misinterpreted and exploited by the usual rouges' gallery of hucksters getting paid for their "expertise".
