SEB has a toxic management culture where unqualified leaders use micromanagement, exclusion, and mental harassment to push even high performers out. HR knows but ignores the problem, and the union offers no real support, often telling employees to just “find another job.” I also witnessed discriminatory behavior towards foreign employees in some teams. Behind the strong external brand lies an outdated, harmful, and unsafe workplace culture.

I’m not sure if there’re any.

They put out their job advertisement in english but only hire Swedes or people who know swedish. Honestly in 2025 everyone in such institution knows english so their requirement doesn’t make any sense. They obviously discriminate against expats. If you email them in english enquiring about a role role, they’ll just ignore you. Ever heard about diversity and inclusion, SEB? Why bother to write advertisement in english at all?
