7yDear Employee:
Thank you for taking the time to share your comments. We appreciate and value your thoughts so that we can learn and grow as an organization. SEKO is a rapidly growing company, and with that growth we have continued to seek input from our employees to ensure we are cognizant of how our culture is perceived. We are sorry to see the negative review, but still consider this a privilege to get that feedback that we proactively seek to receive. In addition to some of the facets we mention below that promotes and encourages open door communications, we also want you to be aware that we have an anonymous reporting hotline that HR responds to, in the event you would like to further engage with the HR team on an anonymous basis. Information for our hotline is posted on our company public website, as well as the internal company sites.
In regards to your concerns on medical coverage, please know that the rising costs of health insurance have forced some companies to consider how to continue offering high quality benefits at a competitive price. SEKO is proud that aside from one of the four offered programs, we did not have to increase the employee costs of benefits from 2018 to 2019, and still maintain other employee perks we offer to drive our strong culture. We will continue to look for ways to offset this employee cost, but hold true to our employee activities as well as our wellness programs. The company has invested more year over year in its wellness programs, which include various initiatives throughout the year to encourage the total health and wellness of each us as individuals.
From a communication standpoint, we believe in our open-door policy for employees at all levels in the organization, and also pride ourselves on the implementation of our Quarterly All Employee Communication Meetings. We consistently remind all managers to spend as much time with their teams as possible being transparent and thoughtful. Being a lean and flat organization has enabled us to grow and develop as a global company that is nimble and quick to adapt to our customers’ needs.
In addition, if you would like to get more involved in 2019 with the HR team and give input on our events calendar, a call for volunteers was recently circulated for the Committee that assists with planning and think-tanking our summer outing, holiday party, Halloween event, Bring Your Child to Work Day, Chase Corporate Challenge, as well as the other various events throughout the year. This might be a good opportunity for you to get engaged and share more valuable feedback with our management team so that we can implement some of your ideas for how we can foster an employee culture where our team LOVES to be at work with their peers. These platforms are to encourage communication from our most valuable resource: You, our employee. This, coupled with our Core Value of Respect is a testament to how much we agree that there can never be enough communication and employee engagement at all levels.
We thank you for your feedback on Glass Door and have taken it seriously. We also encourage you to provide transparent feedback to your Manager and Human Resources at any time.
