The overwhelming majority staff were great and worked incredibly hard to make the organization what it is.

Staff is incredibly overworked. There are few processes, procedures, and templates in place to facilitate work flow. The new exec dir has expressed a lack of interest in establishing such systems. She seems more focused on trying to enhance her own image rather than building on the legacy of what has been established.
