Pluspunten
A paycheck, if you're lucky. I'm only here until I find another job.
Minpunten
They lose contracts left and right because of the upper management. They promise something that can't be delivered, then blames the engineer (normally highly inexperienced) for it not being done. Chief Engineer is extremely inexperienced and is a 'Yes' man and takes no responsibility for anything, and really has no business being a chief engineer. CEO throws fits, and has anger management issues. Don't get caught taking more than one snack or you will be on his 'bad list'. Benefits are terrible, PTO is terrible and Sick time isn't even bad because they don't even give you any! The hardest workers are usually the first to leave, because they are the least appreciated and the most screwed. If you're still debating working here before reading the next section, and after the above section, just look at the responses that the CEO writes to other reviews. These reviews are to help others looking for jobs, and to warn about bad companies. I refuse to do interviews for Solute, because I can't sit and answer the questions 'how do you like working here?', and tell a bold face lie. Things I have seen: CEO have verbal altercation and force a manager to fire multiple sub contractors because he 'didn't like their manager'. CTO works 90% of the time in North Dakota (maybe South), extremely unreachable, but the only smart one in upper management Forced employees to work 16-18 hr days and promised overtime, to which they never received. They bought a building and now trying to figure out how to pay for it because they are losing contracts that was the majority of their portfolio. Force you to lie to customers, which in a realm of clearances and integrity amongst the military makes you look really bad. Many More, but for the sake of staying anonymous I digress
