Pluspunten
Recently moved to a new office of Tel Aviv, which is beautiful and well-organized. Hybrid work schedule. The middle-level managers understand when a problem comes up, for example needing to take the day off to take care of one's children. Rank-and-file employees do their job well. CEO is a nice guy. I give a 5 stars for diversity and inclusion because I do not see any issues like that either on the Israeli side or the American Panoply branch. The average employees get along whether we are one faith or another. During the judicial reform protests of 2023 our CEO was on the side of democracy against Bibi's planned takeover of the Supreme Court.
Minpunten
The flagship products (SQreamDB and Panoply) are not mature enough for the market, and, in my personal opinion, they never will be. In addition to not even implemented very well, they were founded upon concepts that are now either outdated or outclassed by the relevant competitors, and it is too late to catch up. You can do some researching of the competitors like Snowflake, Fivetran, and Databricks before you asking the interviewers to demo the product for you, and you will see how poor it is to compare). In light of this situation, management has been dishonest and unfair to rank-and-file employees about positions and compensation as well.
