This is the most toxic work environment I have ever worked in. The coworkers here have been consistently passive-aggressive, rude, catty, and gossipy. Having to be around them is genuinely miserable, and it made doing this job genuinely miserable. I hated my time here, I used to wish I would have an aneurysm during my commute so I wouldn't have to spend another day here. You will notice that turnover rate is incredibly high, and that's because nobody wants to spend their time in this kind of environment. Like it actually baffles me how a shift lead who is so rude and unpersonable managed to find their way into a position of authority over others. I constantly felt put down and like I couldn't ask questions or go to others for help because they would throw a fit or act condescending and rude for no reason. Additionally, I was promised a certain level of compensation when I was hired onto the job where my hourly pay would increase after a certain amount of time with the company. Management outright lied to me and did not compensate me what I was owed, and didn't say a word like I wouldn't notice. When I called them out, they made excuses. I was baffled to see this kind of crooked behavior from the company.
