Pluspunten
Work hours are consistent but not flexible. The pay and benefits are okay but not keeping up with the times. The new director appears to care about employees, treating others with respect, and transparency. Time will tell. Working with the public and making a difference in their lives is the main pro.
Minpunten
You will find a lot of micromanaging from the admin/management team. There are many hoops to jump through, and input from employees is not sought out or welcomed. New projects and tasks are constantly added to the workload without true consideration for how it affects employees doing the work. Employees are stretched too thin. Health and wellness for employees are talked about but not actually supported in authentic and effective ways. Training is very poor but has gotten slightly better.
