This place is an absolute brain drain. I felt like they don’t see workers as humans more like robots. They are very behind in times. Micro managing, watching, will track you down if you clock in a minute or two early or late and lord forbid you miss a day they act like you caused the company to crash. It’s very hard on the body and physical, standing and or walking the entire shift a loud ridiculous bell to signal breaks. They have music that’s set to a certain station and it’s the same 4-5 songs over and over the entire shift too loud to tune out. The fact that they have such an unpleasant environment and the pay is $18 and below, makes it insufferable. With pay that low nobody will be compelled to deal with such an insanely miserable place, it has a very communist feel to it. I was the 2nd or 3rd person from my new hire class of 4 to leave it’s that bad.

Work–life balance is actually respected. Most managers honor boundaries, don’t expect late-night firefighting as the norm, and are fine with you taking time off when you need it. Solid parental leave. The parental leave policy is extremely generous compared to a lot of places in the industry, and leadership is generally supportive of people actually using it. Interesting, challenging work. Plenty of chances to solve real problems, not just busywork. If you’re proactive, you can own projects and grow your skill set. Good benefits package. Healthcare, 401(k), and time off are competitive, and HR does a decent job of making the options clear. Smart coworkers who care. A lot of sharp people who genuinely want to do the right thing for customers and the business, which makes collaboration worthwhile when it works.

Minpunten

Communication needs improvement. Priorities and decisions don’t always flow clearly from leadership to the teams doing the work, which leads to confusion and rework. Too many silos. Teams tend to operate in their own lane, and cross-functional collaboration can be painful. Information gets stuck instead of shared.
