Management culture. Peter principle in action. Managers pick who they want to pick on. They see any form of communication as goofing off or loss of production. I’ve been redirected because I was perceived as not being busy despite planning with my other coworkers how we are going to utilize our time both pragmatically and idealistically. They allow roadblocks (due to poor communication) to lay present and expect progressively higher quotas. Many long time workers express their willingness to leave.

The pay is just over minimum wage. There is no work life balance they don't offer holiday pay and require you to work on all holidays except for Christmas and Thanksgiving. They constantly add new thing to the job and will never give you a pay raise or advancement. All around bad company that's taking advantage of working class Americans.
