Employees are treated very disrespectfully, expected to work and be reachable 24/7, are extremely underpaid, and have to work long days. There is no transparency in the organisation which practically means that you are not allowed to know your project budgets and you are expected to work with a 0-budget, in order for the management to maximize their profit. This is obviously really bad in itself, but it also happens that you need to engage external vendors, who may not get paid either. There is a lack of SOPs, a direction for the company, and a clear business model.

The company is diverse, hiring interns and employees from different countries who are all passionate about social enterprise work. It's a small company so you will have the opportunity to be responsible for a variety of tasks; event planning, social media, partnerships and innovation.

Minpunten

Because it's a small company and trying to find its place in the social entrepreneurship world, it has a start-up vibe that can be considered chaotic for those who are more process-oriented. There are not many systems in place, so you have to be very proactive.

Minpunten

No clear direction, bad management that likes to micromanage, employees are treated very disrespectfully, expected to work and be reachable 24/7, are extremely underpaid, and have to work long days. Bad working environment, a lot of major last minute changes. For a company that is supposed to focus on impact, the main priority is creating profit, and not in a good way. Lack of transparency in all internal processes. Agree with previous reviewers.
