Pluspunten
Four and half day work week
Minpunten
Leadership says one thing and then says something different the next day. It makes it really hard to know what we are actually supposed to be doing. The direction changes so often that we end up redoing work instead of moving forward. It feels like we spend more time fixing yesterday’s plan than working on today’s.
The workload has been more than what the team can realistically handle. Instead of adjusting priorities or adding support, everything becomes urgent at the last minute. That kind of pressure all the time just wears people down and slows things even more.
The messaging around AI has also been confusing. We are told to use it to be more productive, then told not to use it, sometimes on the same project. It makes people nervous to make a decision because the rules keep changing.
It also seems like the top leaders are not always aligned. When executives are not on the same page, the rest of us are left guessing which direction actually matters. That leads to mixed priorities and more rework.
I was given direction directly from the President, but when the work was reviewed, it was called insufficient and sent back for multiple rewrites. It is frustrating to follow the instructions given and then be told later that those instructions were not right.
