Pluspunten
Holidays could be taken at short notice
Employees get on well together. Possibly a case of 'we're in this together'
A few years back the company was a pleasure to work for. Issues were dealt with fairly by a team leader who knew the team well. Everything seems to be about following procedure to the letter now.
Minpunten
Management structure changed recently and company is now a bureaucratic nightmare.
I was fired for going to the staff room to answer a call to my elderly father, because this contradicted company policy. Company unwilling to consider the context of the call because it breached policy
Management played games with the team one day, then fired a team member a week later for playing games. Job security is completely random and despite a bespoke product, experience isn't valued. As a result the work is getting harder as many experienced trainers, project managers and support staff have been fired or have left in the last year.
Company directors will agree to anything a client asks for meaning clients who shouted the loudest were heard
If you do a good job of keeping your call list clear, you'll receive more work. No motivation to finish calls quickly
All pastimes are prohibited. No music, no personal internet usage. Phones must be turned off.
Need to unwind? Tough luck! You work or you're fired.
No real advancement opportunities. Pay is reviewed annually but the company is unwilling to train employees in any skills (I was asking for SQL training for 3 years as we use it daily)
Pay reviews are measley, I went up 1.5k in 3 years, despite starting below the advertised salary
