- As I stated earlier, it is a great company to work for as entry level or recent college grad ( mostly if you go into CS). They state that their salary is competitive but it is quite disappointing, especially before your 90 day mark. There are some bonuses here and there, but you will get to a point where your experience, work, and skill level outweigh the salary. This is the negative side to the "start-up" culture at most new tech companies. You will receive many "gifts" in the mail such as company merch, gift baskets, and even alcohol. It gets tiring eventually and you start to question if the HR team invests more in unwanted gifts than in your bonuses and raises.
- The company culture is not as good as it was before. Many companies are treating their employees very well and making sure everyone is happy even during this pandemic. But I sensed a lack of this after the company shifted to work-from-home basis. HR doesn't seem to be in your best interest as well.
- Upward mobility can be difficult. It seemed to me that budget played a role in stunting my company growth. This made no sense to me as the company was going public.
