Underwriters and claims worked together and respected each other. Sequoia employees were valued, rewarded, groomed for leadership and encouraged to excel. It's sad to see great small companies like Sequoia disintegrate after acquisition. Customers still talk about how much they miss the professionalism, excellence and customer service Sequoia could provide.
