Pluspunten
I worked at Shutterfly twice, and was laid off twice. But while employed, they make it a great place to work. Awesome benefits, DTO, fun culture, celebrate diversity, etc. They really make you think that they care, that you're an important part of the continued success of the company. I felt valued and lucky to be on the Shutterfly team.
Minpunten
No matter how hard you work or how much you contribute, you're always gonna be at risk of a layoff at Shutterfly. I worked there from 2014-2017 and 2021-2022 and was part of a reorg layoff both times. For a company that profits as much as they do, I would think they would come up with better ways to handle a fluctuation in revenue rather than continuously slashing jobs/people. If you want to feel secure and settle in for the long haul, this isn't the company for you.
