There is plenty of work to go around. Large amount of autonomy in running your projects. If you want to be a project manager, get hired here as an assistant and you'll be promoted to PM within the first couple of months. Most of the PM staff is very helpful and want to help you succeed. Always open to questions. Upper management and ownership is casual with all staff and always open to helping you with tough situations.
Minpunten
Pay is low. Not industry standard for this type of project management position. No options for working remotely. You will be responsible for every single detail of the project which even includes following up on payment if a customer doesn't pay within the time allotted. There are other departments that assist, but you will do the brunt of all work and will be expected to double check other departments work. You get a cell phone, but no other devices. You will be expected to use your personal laptop anytime you are out of the office. Lack of culture. The office is deadly quiet most of the time as everyone is listening to headphones and most people don't even greet each other when they come in. Across the entire company, most people are related or good friends outside of work. You won't be eligible for bonuses or decent PTO until you work there a year or even more.
