Our product solves an actual problem. That simple fact motivates every single member of staff. I will also say that Simbe is very particular about who we hire and a good amount of energy is spent making sure potential new hires are a good culture fit. This company will chew you up and spit you out at the drop of a hat. They claim to have family values and to treat employees as close friends but as soon as they sense any kind of trouble or pushback, they will throw you to the curb. The prevailing mindset is that you should be thankful to give your soul to work for them and be happy with however they decide to compensate you. Robotics and hardware take a back seat to the marketing team members that are treated as everlasting celebrities and you have to be reminded time and time again of how important those sales and marketing team members are at every all-hands meeting.
