Best place I’ve ever worked. The culture is awesome. Every person here truly cares about their work product, and it shows. Meetings and interactions with peers are productive, but also regularly fun or funny. We consistently celebrate company milestones and cheer for individual successes. People decorate the office for holidays, and desks team members’ birthdays. It’s just that kind of place. The company is growing rapidly, and in that growth leadership looks to promote from within. It’s great to see people rewarded for their hard work with new opportunities and autonomy. There is a clear vision for the future of the company makes what we do day to day feel meaningful.

I try to add pros and cons to reviews, but I’m having a hard time thinking of any cons. I think that says a lot.

I’ve been with Simple Higher Ed for five years and have really enjoyed being part of the team. I joined when the company was still fairly early in its growth, and it has been great to watch it mature into a well-established organization while still keeping the positive culture it started with. Leadership is engaged and approachable, and there is a consistent focus on hiring good people, recognizing strong work, and promoting from within. The work is meaningful, especially if you care about solving real challenges in education, and it’s satisfying to know your efforts are seen and valued. I’ve always felt trusted to manage my responsibilities and contribute ideas. The team is collaborative, and the environment strikes a solid balance between high expectations and respect for work-life balance.

The only drawback has been the health benefits. They are okay, but not as strong as what I’ve had at larger companies. Still, the overall experience, culture, and growth opportunities have made it a great place to build a career.
