I worked as a summer intern for Skaled and continued to work as an SDR part time my last year of college. I don't think I could have asked for a better foundation in my sales career. Pros -As an intern you're taught how to work. No coffee errands. People here work hard and it forces you to develop "hard-working" habits too. -Develop overall sales acumen. It's a sales consulting firm so you'll learn sales best practices, strategies, tech stacks, processes that most other sales teams don't know or struggle with. -Make strong connections to other sales leaders around the country. Most consultants are ex-VPs of sales so the networking opportunity is great. -You're empowered to have a voice or an opinion. Both internally and on social media, etc. -Leadership is willing to help with your career goals. Whether that means moving you into a new position to gain other experiences, etc. -Young and energetic work environment -Everyone you work with will be a sales expert and the CEO, Jake, is very easily accessible. All in all - this isn't a sales internship most of your friends will have. Super unique experience. My overall mentality and outlook on sales and business is forever changed.
Minpunten
Few cons but they're really just chances for you to step up and learn something new. -No process. If you're someone who needs guidance and direction you might struggle. Teaches you how to take ownership on areas that are unclear. -Very fast paced. If you're someone who can't make quick decisions and analyzes everything you may struggle to keep up. Teaches you how to multi-task and set priorities. -Communication. People are often times on a different page. Teaches you how to collaborate, stay organized, and over-clarify on expectations.
