Pluspunten
*The pay is great, even when you're just starting out. Reaching $50k within a year will be the minimum as long as you sell to half the guests you speak with. *The health benefits are FANTASTIC. Low co-pay and deductible options. *Training is thorough: you go through six weeks of computer module training and role play education with a newly hired group. You can't work the floor until you've proven you can sell confidently and successfully. *Management worked with my schedule to give me the two days off a week I need with my spouse, while also giving me a third day off in between weeks to recuperate. *Additionally, they highly encourage and push for everyone to take vacation time, especially before and after a sale. *In between popular holiday sales, there is significant downtime, which is great for school or other work.
Minpunten
*Long hours. You work the entire day, so either 6 or 10 hours is a shift depending on the day. *Significant downtime, which can drag without something to occupy your time. *Holidays are mandatory to work. Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day are the only ones you have off. *Sale weekends can include 12 hour days for the Friday, Saturday, and/or Monday. *If you're looking to get into upper management, you have to wait for someone to transfer or retire, or you have to transfer districts to where the openings are.
