I have never felt more valued at a workplace than I do working here. Leadership says they're big on transparency, and they mean it. The environment as a whole is welcoming, accepting, and encouraging. Your voice is listened to and valued. The CEO schedules one-on-one meetings every few months to get to know you and ensure you're being heard.
The biggest shock to me was coming on board and being told so many times how important customer service was to business, and then being shown that the leadership really believes that. Our team doesn't get the "short end of the stick", we don't get left out of conversations, or brushed to the side when decisions are made.
